Welcome to Mike Scotland's Underwater Photography site Chuuk Lagoon

In this photo, the challenge is to illuminate the bright colours of the coral and the red rust of the hull of the Sankisan Maru, the skin tones of my model and the pleasing blue background. I took test shots to balance the blue background light and the coral before I asked my model to come over and pose. That way, I was able to get the best settings to create the effect I wanted.
